"Had such a lovely stay here, well looked after with delicious food. The little outhouse where I ate was so toasty and cozy. The bedroom was spacious and clean with an en suite bathroom. The perfect place to rest after a long hike from Theth. Slept very well. Room had a heater and thick blanket."

"Guesthouse Mountain was a bit difficult to find - don’t follow Google Maps; instead go across the blue bridge as another reviewer has said. Once found it was exceptional. The provided breakfast is really good and I had dinner the evening before which is even better - 3 substantial courses for €8. There is WIFI also. Communication was excellent."

"Lovely little family house set back from the river in a beautiful spot - views of the mountains in the morning from their new breakfast terrace. The food was excellent throughout, I had dinner, ordered packed lunch and had breakfast here. The eggs are from their free-range chickens and they gave me some honey to try from their own hives. Marçel was a great host!"

"If you're still trying to decide where to stay in Valbone, you absolutely must stay here. Everything with our stay was beyond perfect! The view from the mountains at dinner is wonderful, the hosts are incredibly friendly and are brilliant cooks, and all the food cooked for us was fresh and delicious. Our room was clean and the perfect size for what we needed."

"The house is a bit far from the start/finish of the Theth trail, but like the rest of the accommodations. Instead of it, It's close to the start of other very nice hikes! So nothing bad at all."

"The bathroom in our room had a bad smell. Probably because of the septic system. We could not smell it in the room with the bathroom door closed. Everything was clean."

"Marcel and his family were absolutely wonderful. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Albania. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They were incredibly helpful, especially guiding me through the logistics for the Valbonë to Theth hike, which I had planned for the next morning. And the view from the terrace? Unbelievable! Surrounded by stunning mountains, it was incredibly serene. I genuinely regret not booking a longer stay. I’ll absolutely be coming back – next time for more than just one night. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality"

"It is a lovely little place. Very rustic but very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view over the mountains and lots of chickens running around. The owners were lovely- the children speak English - and dinner was delicious. I was leaving early so they made me a packed breakfast at no extra cost."
