"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "My sister & I stayed 4 nights here! 😍 We loved that… it was great value for money,… there’s a shop downstairs that opened 7 days till late… The location was awesome, right next to DMC, Vailoa, (the best fried chicken franchise on the island 😋)… the twin room was clean, and spacious with 2 x twin beds, sofa lounge, a balcony with clothes airer, a wardrobe, massive shower with hot water, toiletries & towels, kitchen sink with utilities, Tea/Coffee facilities, Aircon & free WiFi…and… The host, (Teresa), was very friendly & welcoming, always willing & present to help out when needed. 😃"

The only issue, was the accommodation is upstairs and carrying heavy luggage upstairs was a little challenging, otherwise, it was excellent value for money. 👍

Dreadful road with huge potholes in the road to the units. Not Access fault.

Možná by mohlo být lepší vybavení kuchyně, přeci jen klasický litinový vařič už není úplně ideální zejména pro lidi, co běžně používají indukci.

"Very cosy apartment in a quiet location. Well-equipped kitchenette Easy parking in the nearby street Shops are available within a few minutes drive time."

There is only one power socket in the sleeping room, and it does not work (well) as the holes are too loose to uphold any charging device. A multi-socket cable connected to a repaired socket would be appreciated. In the kitchenette, there is some coffee and tea provided, much appreciated. Oddly, there is no sugar but salt. Sugar would be more useful than salt.

"That the owner responded to my phone call to let me know that the studio is not up for rent yet. By doing so, she saved me a trip to Bequia without à place to stay."

That Booking.com is proposing a property which is not available before April 2026. By doing so, I could have ended up on the island of Bequia on a Sunday night with nowhere to sleep.

"The apartment welcomes us in a sparkling clean condition with all the home equipment that we need. It has a private car park with security, we felt safe around the neighbourhood. It is worth mentioning that the apartment is located in a very convenient neighbourhood. Will surely recommend!"

"The two hosts of the Appartement Hotel are very accommodating and helpful! The location is great, the roof terrace wonderful. We didn't get the apartment which first booked, but two at no extra charge. At first I was skeptical about the change, but the two hosts communicated this honestly and transparently."

We had two apartments, one was quiet, the other had the windows on the side with various bars, this was a bit noisy. It should be noted that this is a busy old and nice town area.

"The garden is amazing! We stayed there in early October and the trees’ colors were stunning. Huge congrats to the gardeners! Also the breakfast was great with many tasty local products."

The houses are well equiped and designed, however in some cases design is over function f.ex.: living room area cannot be fully covered by blackout curtain and throught the non-covered part people can exactly see the ones stepping out from the bathroom. Light and odor extraction system is automatically switches on, even in the night and also when you pass by the toilet (no need to step in). There is no towel rack in the bathroom, no bedside table next to the bed. TV is literally cannot be used in the bedroom as there is only HDMI possibility or Austrian tv channels, not even Hungarian ones (DUNA Tv and M2 only). Netflix can be used only in the living room. There are too many small, but even more annoying, minor flaws, which is a real shame because the place itself is beautiful.
