"Service was supreme. The staff was very nice and welcoming, even on the check-out at 5 am, they gave us coffee and apologised that medialunas are not ready yet. Some of them spoke very good English. The beds were made every day, and trash was taken out (this is not happening even in star hotels, but here every day!). As for the Europeans, the breakfast choice was poor, but if you look at it the Argentinian way, everything is perfect. Also loved the option to use the communal fridge and kitchen. We used that quite a lot and were super satisfied. The location is also supreme, it takes you about 5 minutes to the central plaza and Chocolate Street, shops are close by, cafes, and everything."

"The noise from the street was too loud at night. No sound isolation whatsoever. The room was a bit too hot; an AC would have been nice, but since it was raining and cold all the time, the warmer room was a welcome feeling. The wi-fi could have been better; it was spotty and sometimes not working properly. The remote you have to ask for at the reception, and ours was not quite working, but we used our own methods to switch channels, and the TV was only for background noise since we don't speak much Spanish. You could see the windows were old and some other stuff, but for the price and comfort, it was a minor problem. There should be hot water in the kitchen to wash the dishes more comfortably, but then again, you can heat it up on the stove the old way."

"Cheap and cheerful, 24h front desk which made checking in after a midnight bus arrival extremely easy. It looks pretty, well-lit and modern from the street, which also made late-night checkin in a new city less hassle. The guy on reception at night spoke utterly flawless english and was very kind. Buses to the hiking regions go from around 2 blocks away and you can pay by contactless."

"Our room was functional and cosy but rather dated, and breakfast was basic, so for us this was a good fit as a 1-night stopover before hiking nearby. We would probably upgrade if we were staying in Bariloche longer."

"They kindly turned the heating off in our room because we don't like a heated bedroom. Having toast, coffee and juice for breakfast was great. Plenty of storage in the rooms. Restaurant area was a good place to meet people"

"Limited workspace and equipment in the kitchen. Oven unusable. Wife was intermittent and we had to use the restaurant area, which was better but not 100% reliable."

"The staff were very friendly and helped us with all our enquiries and requests. The breakfast was limited in variety but consistent and filling (the coffee was excellent). For us the rooms were too hot, but they provided us with a room with the heating turned off in the bedroom. Great location near to supermarkets, bars, restaurants, tourist information office(s) and local buses to all the hiking points."

"Toilet in room 107 is constantly running, not sure where all the water is going to but probably needs looking at and is annoying when you are trying to sleep! Shower floods the bathroom. Toilet seat is sharp and probably needs replacing. Lacking in utensils in the kitchen, no chopping knife, can opener or peeler. Breakfast was a bonus but it is just toast and drinks. Wifi can be temperamental."
