The Edelweisshof is located in the picturesque village of Birnbaum in the heart of the Lesach Valley, set between the Carnic Alps and the Lienz Dolomites. A rich breakfast buffet is served every morning. In summer you can have breakfast on the terrace. In the afternoon coffee and cakes are served there. In the evening, you can relax at the bar with a drink and a game of darts. The garden offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and features a children’s playground and a tarmac lane for summer curling. There is also an indoor playroom, a billiards table, and a virtual Nike+Kinect coach. The property features a terapi area. Many picturesque hiking trails start right at the doorstep. "We were in transit only one night. Is not a luxury hotel, but is a very good value for money option. It looks a bit outdated, but was clean, comfortable, the area is very nice, you have a picturesque view from room or balcony. Also we had included dinner and breakfast which was good. The owner really hospitable and nice."

"Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Rooms Was big. Sauna area is big snd the Panorama Sauna is new, great to spend the afternoon. Friday is Aufguss time, which is very nice We also had dinner included, the food is delicious"

"The hotel was spotless, the food was absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was very good. Everything was very comfortable and in excellent condition. My room had a massive HD TV. There was also a tablet in the room with some interesting family history and other info. There was a relaxation area, a jacuzzi and a pool. I would definitely go again! In my experience, most staff on my trips have never been like this (The staff in Sölden were also nice). It makes such a massive difference. Hilaria, I remembered your name, but I probably botched the spelling. Thank you Julia, Croatian waiter guy and the other tall guy with the accent. Danke schön to all the other staff as well."
