"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"Accomodation with history. The room was very nice and cozy. The owner was very nice, she cooked breakfast and dinner for us and it was possible to buy water there. When I was sick she made me tea and snack which I could take to the room. We had no car and they took us to Mavrovo. We really appreciate this! The location is also very good - near to Medenica and near to horse farm."

"It’s family owned and they were all so lovely and welcoming! Gjirokastër is very “hilly” so the roads were tough but they even offered to drop us off into town/pick us up. Very accommodating to our needs and there when we needed anything. Also, the breakfast was a whole spread with an amazing view of the castle and the mountains; it was so refreshing to eat to such a peaceful view. 10/10."

"It's a beautiful hotel 10 out of 10. So comfortable and pretty. Very clean and you can have a beautiful view of the Nile. I absolutely recommend this place. There was a group that arrived without booking and there was not enough food, so the host had to go shopping and the dinner was late. There was enough food for everyone but not much variety for warm dishes, comparing with other guesthouses on the trail. The guesthouse is located off the main trail and the trail is a bit tricky.

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

"Incredibly beautiful lodge close to the lake and in a very secluded location. The road is long and bumpy to get there, but that just adds to the charm! Rooms and facilities are lovely and comfortable. And staff is incredibile!"

Keine Handtücher. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Heizung im Zimmer ließ sich nicht zurückdrehen.

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"
