The traditionally built, historic wood and stone house Flyhof in Weesen is a family-owned alamat, set directly at the shores of Lake Walen. It offers a shaded terrace, a garden with old trees, direct access to the lake and beautiful views. The romantic rooms are equipped with antique furniture. Some rooms have shared toilets. Hairdryer and TV are available upon request. The restaurant of Flyhof serves traditional specialities and Mediterranean cuisine.

"This stay was a very special place as it overlooked the most beautiful blue lake. Our room was on the upper floor, very private with our own bathroom, which was a must for us. Our room was very warm and cozy and the views overlooked the lake which were amazing.The house had great character authentic in everyway and a pleasure to stay in. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating and very happy to please. Our breakfast was fresh yogart amd fruit with several different types of granola, bread, tea/coffee and an option of eggs. The dining area had the wooden beams and the windows looked out to the lake. We would highly recommend this place and tell you it's a must if you are in the area. Also hiked up to a waterfall nearby and drove along the mountains in the surrounding area... What a treat, we would unquestionably recommend this place!"

"I had a lovely room in this beautiful old house which has its charm. My room had a beautiful view of the turquoise-colored lake. Great location! The house is very close to the bus stop, and you can go for a long stroll near the lake and hills. The staff were wonderful!"
"The only downside for me was that when I arrived for dinner, I found out that all the tables were booked. Anyway, I took 5-7 min walk by the lake and had my dinner at some place there. Therefore, I recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you intend to dine at Flyhof."
