"The hotel has excellent location in the centre of Wengen with a commanding view of the peaks and Jungfrau. It is enjoying the sun all day and indeed a “nice corner” as the the name says. Very comfortable, beautiful and typical Swiss restaurant with contemporary menu with friendly and helpful staff. Swiss hospitality at its best!"

"Felt very much at home - which is a good thing, even on holiday! Location very central and close to shops, restaurants, PO, church, and Männlichen cable car station; rail station and Co-op five minutes away. Room and balcony had breathtaking mountain views - unfortunately these disappeared for five out of seven days with persistent cloud, but particularly beautiful with sunset glow in the evenings. Everything spotlessly clean; nice modern bathroom; decent-sized shower; good internet. Lovely welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent, generous and varied breakfast ... a real treat to have smoked salmon every morning!"

"I would have perhaps liked a kettle, and some tea, coffee, in the room. They did provide things in a downstairs lounge, but I prefer it in room."

"Staff was lovely and kind. Breakfast - I could clearly feel that they put in a lot of effort and not 100 sure, but cutlery and teapot was silverware. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very lovely with beautiful view. I loved very much with the cosy room with perfect view. It was a lovely hotel and gifted me a romantic time in Wengen."

"Toilet was pretty small and the shower- you can control the height but I didn't understand how to change the direction of it. In general, Swiss plug is quite hard to get used to. They had 3 plugs outlet, but I could only use one at a time with the international plug converter and I had to prop the converter with some objects."

"The location is perfect, it feels like it's at the end of the main street. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The breakfast has many types of local cheeses. I arrived at 8pm but I had the key ready with a welcome message and instructions. I liked that the room had a painting of the old train station and the hallway had 19th century furniture! And old pictures of Wengen in the hallways. Snacks and drinks in the lobby. I liked that I received a mini Gipfelwiiss in the room, which is a chocolate bar in the shape of the 4 snow-capped peaks (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and Silberhorn) and is produced in Wengen at the Vincenz Bäckerei - Konditorei on the main street."
