"Location was lovely. Away from the main road. Lovely hosts who treated us to a surprise breakfast treat of local food on Sunday. Fab neighbour who gifted us mangoes daily and a fresh loaf of bread on Sunday. Will definitely book again and recommend to friends and family."

"The only negative will be the solar hot water , the shower is sometimes cold in the morning but it’s warm enough, we didn’t mind it at all as it was refreshing"

"Loved the house and the most important thing was that the littlest kitchen utilities were available. Absolutely anything you need. Loved how the house was designed especially the kitchen and bathroom with the natural sunlight shining right through. The low ceiling to the verandah was great and most importantly the largest bedroom had both the doors opening right to the garden area."

"Accommodation was clean and tidy. Perfect for our family of 4 with lots of room as the bedrooms were very spacious. We were greeted by one of the owners who showed us how to open coconuts .Traditional food was bought over on a Sunday morning which was absolutely delicious. Lovely neighbours who check in, greeted you, took your rubbish out and brought us fresh mangos daily. Overall it was an excellent experience and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a private home."

"Great location. This property had everything you need for a great stay. Adopted the neighbourhood cats for our stay and they.will miss us but hope others adopt them too. Lovely place and will definitely stay again."

"The accommodation was in a great location just far enough from the resorts to be quiet and close enough to be amongst it if that’s what you wanted. Definitely would recommend a hire car."

"Stayed Tapunui 9 nights with my family of 7 absolutely loved this home, beautifully structured with natural air flow inside outside feels with island plants, huge kitchen with gas oven bbq paddle boards to use. The location is perfect right opposite the beach, my 5 sons loved everything about this house table tennis table, huge outdoor indoor spaces. Owner is really beautiful had fruit available showed us how to do coconut grate it was really helpful friendly! Definitely stay here again!"

"The location was convenient, nearby to Muri lagoon with beautiful views facing east over the Pacific for glorious sights of the rising sun. A minutes walk was a coffee shop (7am till 10am, pastries on a Sunday morning), a supermarket and takeaway. Plenty of room, with good sized bedrooms, with comfy beds, and lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is every well equipped, better than any other accommodation we have stayed in..Large gas hob with an electric oven. The garden is peaceful, with a good sized deck and a path leading down to the beach. Bathroom was neat and tidy with an excellent hot water shower, which never ran out. Good sized washing machine with plenty of washing lines to hand out the clothes which dry quickly. Fridge freezer was clean and of a very generous size."

"A fabulous house furnishings were very asian inspired great indoor outdoor living..beautiful pool gardens were amazing..large kitchen with all mod cons..washer & dryer...outdoor shower in main bedroom...comfy bed. .fresh fruit platter every morning made by the fabulous Elis she was amazing.. it was like staying in a 5 star hotel but you get the whole house to yourself. .close to airport & main town..it would be best to hire a car...I could not fault this accommodation..it is a must stay!"

"Vaea was super helpful when our flight got cancelled last minute and we needed to arrive one day earlier as expected. She picked us up from the airport and drove with us to the supermarket - it was a very warm welcome! The bungalow is clean and cosy, the air condition is working great and we had everything we needed. We booked a private lagune tour with Vaea's husband Marokii (Tai Marino Tour) and loved it!"

"Privacy and confortability. The house is so close to the beach, it has all the facilities our children need such as goggles, snorkels, kayaks etc. Was very comfort, big house, roomy and air con really helped though we didn't need them all the time. Water bottles were provided for drinking and information about the house was provided as well so it was easy to find things around. Very friendly host and kind."
