"A little walk out of the centre of town, although that didn’t bother us at all. We liked this part of town. It’s 200m from a quiet bit of beach if you want a dip in the lake, and there’s still plenty of shops and restaurants around."

"Lovely hostel, very charming and cozy. Great communal areas, spacious and comfortable. Reasonable walking distance to stores and restaurants. A short walk to the lakeside. Beds were comfortable. Lovely garden out the back to relax."

"Although it's a decent walk to the main city area, there is still plenty nearby to enjoy. No space to store anything on the top bunk. Otherwise a comfortable stay."

"Incredible old building where everything is clean and tidy. The owner is very welcoming and will make sure you have a great stay. The volunteers working at the hostel were very nice and serious about having everything clean for the guests. Honestly, one of the best places I stayed in South America ☺️"

"One of the best hostels I've stayed in! Very homely vibe, really kind staff who are helpful in providing any recommendations/advice needed on things to do, spacious rooms (I was in the downstairs room which had loads of storage space and space around beds, and really big single beds that were very comfortable, but can't speak for the other rooms), living room is really comfortable and it's very easy to meet other travellers, kitchen is very well stocked, apples in the garden which I picked every day."

"Location is 30 minutes walk from the centre but it's a nice walk along the water so it's not too bad!"

"I loved this hostel! It is very homey, as it is a big house with a big garden in the back. The bed was super comfortable, everything was clean, the shower was nice, the staff was friendly, the common areas including the kitchen was super. It's around a 20 minute walk to the center, so if you don't mind that, this is a very good value hostel!"
