"We liked the location, 15min walking to the beach."

"We think is more like a 2 stars guesthouse than 5. The WC did not work properly during our stay. Only 2-3 parking spots inside, however you can park in the street nearby. When we arrived around 7pm nobody was there, we needed to ask the indian restaurant staff to contact the receptionist staff."

"This was a quiet motel close to town and many restaurants. The pool was clean and refreshing. The woodwork in the lobby was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is perfectly located - just a short walk from both the beach and tons of great restaurants and shops, which made everything incredibly convenient. The staff was amazing: kind, attentive, and always going the extra mile. We had a small issue with a power socket in our room, and they had us switched to a new room within minutes. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with hot water, which, as we learned, isn’t always guaranteed in Guanacaste. All in all, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Sámara!"

"Brandon addressed our concerns and resolved them to the extent possible. Pool was great to cool off in. Location was central. It is not beachfront. You can see the water from the top floor but is 1.5 km to walk to the beach. Beach and ocean were great for swimming. Lots of restaurants to choose from adjacent or nearby the beach."

"The facilities are dated but maintained. Pictures on Booking.com look much better than reality. While we were there they had staffing issues in the restaurant. Breakfast was provided for people staying there but the restaurant was closed otherwise."

"The place is gorgeous. The rooms are extremely clean and nice, with AC and fridge. The shower is amazing ! There is a nice chilling area, a bar and a restaurant. The pool was our favorite place to be to cool down a bit when the sun hits too strong, it is huge, perfect temperature, good mix of shadow and sun. Ideal to swim or just as I did, read a book :) The place is nicely located, not in the heart of the hotel area, so it is quiet and peaceful, we had great nights there. There is a french bakery next to the hotel, serving delicious pastries and bread. Brandon and his mother are the nicest hosts you can hope for, they are flexible, easy to reach out to and will always do their best to make your stay nice. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, we ended up staying 4. We loved it here !"

"The first room lacked of light (I am a bit claustrophobic), but Brandon and his mother allowed us to switch. So nothing we did not like really."

"At first we were sceptical about the road in front of the place - but that dissapeared the moment we settled… The place has a calm vibe and magical atmosphere. Brandon (the owner) was very nice, welcoming and helpfull in anyway we needed. At one point hos mother brougt us mango and banans from her garden 😍 Everything in Sámara is in walking distance; the center, the beach, grosery stores minutes away. There is a fridge in the rooms, and a common kitchen, with everything you need; cups, pans, microwave, hotplate. Machine with boiling water and cold water! The terrace was our favorite spot 😍 I would definitely recommend La flor de coco 🤩"

"This was a great place to stay! We loved the open shared areas and the pool. The rooms were clean and tidy. We thought the people running the place were so kind and helpful, really made sure that we felt welcome. It’s about a 5-10 min walk into town but also there are shops and cafes closer. The little restaurant attached was gorgeous as well."
