"It was near the main street close to all bars and restaurants. Short walk to beach and there is a grocery store a few minutes away. The pool is really nice and each room has a porch with a veranda. Tom the owner is wonderful and Susan fills you in on everything to see and do."

"I loved the location. Everyone in the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. They always made sure I wasn’t lacking anything. Cleaning every day, great kitchen that you can cook in, fridge in the room was a bonus. Pool is super nice too with lots of space to chill."

"The rooms are basic but clean. There was a fridge in each room and the air conditioning worked. Check in was easy and we were able to get two parking spaces on site. The staff Susan and Octavio were very helpful and booked us a estuary tour at short notice. Susan also went above and beyond with her help when the laundry provider did not return some of our laundry on the last day due to a vehicle failure. She managed to arrange for someone to go to the laundry and collect the clothes and get them back to us before we had to leave. The pool was small but perfect for our needs. We loved the howler monkeys that came to visit regularly during our stay and didn't mind them waking us up at night with their calls."

"The rooms are a little tired. A couple of our rooms had issues with ants and other bugs but that is often the case in costal locations. The WiFi coverage was a little intermittant but the stay was relaxing."

"Octavio and Susan were extremely friendly and discreet about an issue I was having when arriving, which I really appreciated as it caught me off guard The room was great, a very large bed, a hot shower, mossie free and clean, the only issues you may get are your neighbours as the first night I was woken with a start as mine slammed the door so hard I thought they were entering mine, after that the security lights kept going on/off, I could also hear a lady chatting loudly in the early hours on her phone, next night was quieter Walkable to the beach and restaurants with a little supermarket a few doors down It felt safe as well"

"The location was fantastic. Although it was in the heart of the city it felt separated from the noise and busyness. A little community like oasis in Tamarindo. Howler monkeys, Iguanas, cats. If you dont like nature, dont stay here. If you want to feel like you are part of a little village with a rustic, groovy feel and a community open air kitchen, this is your place! There is a safe and mini fridge in each room too! A hammock on each patio for each little villa and a place to hang your clothes to dry. And a table and chair outside each room to eat breakfast or have a drink. It was wonderful! If you need laundry done, they can have it picked up and dropped off for a nominal price."

"The beds...the beds are rock hard unfortunately. Having an extra towel would have been great. In fairness I didnt ask for another towel, so perhaps I could have received a 2nd one. Make sure you bring your own for the pool. Theres really no place to unpack your clothing aside from a few hangers. There is one luggage rack which we used to hold open the luggage. We made do, that was a minor inconvenience. The biggest issue for me was the bed, but I prefer a softer bed. So if you like a firm bed, this is the place!"
