"Lovely, peaceful BnB, nice room with everything we needed, including good internet and a communal sitting room. The accommodation is near the Canal du Midi in a pretty village and the interior had a very personal touch. We felt very much at home. The breakfast was excellent and the hostess was exceptionally welcoming and very kind to us."

"The bathroom is "separated" from the bedroom by a scrap of curtain which only covers half the space between the two. Using the toilet is therefore a shared experience - pick your travel companion carefully! A sliding door would be a big improvement."

"Very enjoyable, lovely friendly lady who owns the place. Lady spoke better English than our French. Room was decorated to a very high standard in a French quirky seaside theme. Will definitely go again. Breakfast very good with home made jams. Use of extra sitting area just our side room made you feel you had an extra room."

"My friend and I were cycling the Canal du Midi and stopped here in Poilhes for the night. Fantastic room, in a great property and the lady was lovely really made us feel welcome. Stored our bikes securely in her garage overnight. Room comfortable with a fab shower, kettle for us to make our tea (we took our English tea bags with us on the trip!) and air con, electric roof light window and shutter. Lovely continental breakfast, croissant, brioche, bread, jams, cheese, ham, fruit basket, fruit juice and coffee. We ate lots ahead of our next day's riding. There are three restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the property."

"The only minor issue was that the property doesn't have a twin room, so we shared the large double and we are very good friends so it was all absolutely fine, no problem at all! But I just thought I would say this for the benefit of others."
