"We stayed at Au Dux refude for just one night. We were travelling to Italy from UK. It was easy to find, close to the A26. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Great to find find coffee ready to be used. Thisi not a uxury apartment, but is very conforatable and could easily be suitable for a longer stay"

"Au Doux Refuge was immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was evident that lots of thought and care had been put into the place. Two large bedrooms each with a double bed, sofa and TV. Good WIFI and a secluded little terrace / garden to sit outside. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked well. Good communication via Booking.com with the host. Highly recommended."

"The host, Durand, was very friendly and welcoming & accommodated our late arrival. He spoke excellent English which was very helpful for us and was happy to share about the property, grounds and horses. The location is beautiful as is the property itself! Excellent shutters on the windows kept the rooms dark and given the rural location it was quiet and made for a great night's sleep. Having plenty of secure parking is definitely a major plus. The pony's surrounding the property were a delight for our horse mad daughter."

"Great location for château visiting and blois. Really comfortable, nicely decorated and absolutely lovely hosts. English speaking French owner, with an agent close to hand to address any issues. Very organised and relaxing. Late arrival was fine and they were happy to accept dogs."
