"Ivo and his helping friend Nora were very welcoming. We enjoyed the privilege and unusual experience of staying in a castle . Ivo delighted us with the stories of his inspiring life so rich in experiences. Our room was luxuriously furnished, airy and very comfortable and we had a different breakfast both days. The two big dogs were extremely well behaved. We would definitely recommend a stay in Ivo's castle."

"How magical can it get? Beautiful castle loaded with antiques and the owners collections of various works of art from all over the globe. Everything is beautiful restored and decorated. "Ivo and Nora were excellent hosts and made us very welcome. The breakfast, with home cooked delicacies, was delicious. The castle is quite exceptional, with enormous rooms and historic furnishings. A real piece of French history! Very convenient for Chopin Concerts at Nohant, and an excellent base for visiting George Sand's beautiful Berry!"

"I’ve really seen a lot of places and hotels in this world, but I think this was the most amazing room I ever spent the night. So much history, so beautifully restored to today’s standards and so tastefully decorated. A wonderful place, and Ivo is a truly a-ma-zing host. Funny, hospitable and a real connoisseur. He showed us around and we were astonished by all his wonderful stories. You won’t regret staying here!"
