"Nothing we didn’t like"
"We booked a the 3 bedded room with kitchen corner and balcony for our 6 night stay. We had plenty of space and a phantastic view down the valley. The hotel is conveniently located for accessing local public transport and the historic centre of Argeles-Gazost with many shops and restaurants. We used the bus to go walking around Gavernie (seasonal) and Cauterets."

"I would recommend Dolwin if you are seeking the authentic French Pyrenean experience. The decor and the house is very old fashioned, it was like staying with your Grandma. The couple who run it are very elderly and nice. The breakfast had plenty of home-made elements to it, and the dining room and view is very nice. It was clean and comfortable."
"If you don't like old fashioned, you won't like this. Because of the age, everything is a little wonky and old. The towels provided were quite small and scratchy. But approach it with enthusiasm and interest and it's perfectly fine!"
"The atmosphere is amazing. It's an old beautiful house that is cared for with love. You feel like you're visiting beloved relatives - they welcome you so wonderfully. The breakfasts are a dream, simple and very delicious"

"Schlüssel war in einem Tresor und man konnte entspannt zu einer eigenen Zeit anreisen. Es ist gut ausgestattet und vor Ort selber Essen zubereiten. Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse ist bezaubernd. Danke bis zum nächsten Mal"
"Un chalet confortable, très bien équipé, à deux pas des pistes du Bettex. Avec en prime une vue splendide sur le Mont-Blanc et un hôte attentionné et réactif. Bref un excellent séjour !"

"Très jolie petite maisonnette, très confortable, bien fourni avec tous ce qu’on avait besoin. Tranquille jour et nuit. Facile à trouver, communication facile. Restaurant/pub à une minute de marche que nous avons adoré. Stationnement très proche. Belle piscine, mais petite quand les 3 gîtes veulent l’utiliser en même temps! Parfaitement placé pour explorer la region."

"A great little place in the heart of the town. 100m from the Camino passport office and perfect for your starting place for the Camino. It's so close to all the shops too. Directly across is a little store that will vaccum seal sandwiches that you can take the next day on your adventure and they'll be fresh. The room was big enough and the bathroom and shower were great. The bed was comfortable too."

"This accommodation was perfect for my one night stop over on a solo cycling tour and my bike was stored safe and secure in the garage. The accommodation was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The accommodation represented excellent value for money with the thoughtful extras provided and the superb continental breakfast that was included in the price. The hosts were very friendly and a table de hote was available which I accepted for an additional fee. If you have the opportunity I would recommend you take it up as the food was of restaurant standard and it is good to chat to other people especially if you are a solo traveller. The showers and toilets are seperate from the bedroom which is reflected in the price. Overall, the best value for money stay I've had in France over the past 10 days. Thank you 😁."
