"Ecrin de Verdure would not suit everybody. We liked it because of the location and the calmness. There are no meals and you self-cater. The area is delightful. Pleasant grounds in the heart of the country. There is a small supermarket half a mile away where you can buy all the provisions you need."

"Fantastic place to stay. And the town on the hill, St Susanne, is just great! Everything was super well organised with all needed instructions. The property is beautiful with a garden and walking area. The room is clean, well equipped and comfortable."

"Our stay here was so enjoyable. Manue our hostess was lovely & very welcoming. The breakfast was simply amazing including delicious French specialities made with the fruit grown on the farm, délicieux! We didn’t need to have lunch afterwards! Manue was also very helpful with suggestions of where to spend our day whilst there & in sharing her local knowledge."
