"Ecrin de Verdure would not suit everybody. We liked it because of the location and the calmness. There are no meals and you self-cater. The area is delightful. Pleasant grounds in the heart of the country. There is a small supermarket half a mile away where you can buy all the provisions you need."

"Lovely house in a quiet location. Cosy, old stone built property with modern amenities. Nice comfortable bedrooms with good shower rooms and great blackout roller shutters. The hosts are also very accommodating but leave you in peace during your stay."

"Our stay here was so enjoyable. Manue our hostess was lovely & very welcoming. The breakfast was simply amazing including delicious French specialities made with the fruit grown on the farm, délicieux! We didn’t need to have lunch afterwards! Manue was also very helpful with suggestions of where to spend our day whilst there & in sharing her local knowledge."

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always quick to respond to any questions. We especially loved the second floor option and the fully equipped kitchen, which made us feel right at home.
