"I can only confirm what people have said before: the label 'luxury suite' is wrong, this is a full blown apartment with separate bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchenette, 2 terraces, closed parking space. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast will serve you well for a whole day of walking or biking, you even get bags to take the leftovers with you. Whenever we want to go back to this beautiful region, this will be the first place I check to see if it is available."

"I stayed at Escapade de Vauclair whilst walking the Via Francigena, for which it is conveniently situated. I enjoyed a warn welcome and a relaxing stay in this modern, comfortable apartment . The breakfast was excellent. I cannot recommend it too highly!"

"Fabulous apartment with excellent facilities. Breakfast great - the owners even travelled 17 kms to get me some bread as I asked for toast the previous evening! Hosts extremely accommodating, welcoming and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer! We were able to park our motorbikes in their secure drive."

"We were two tired and hungry pilgrims on the Via Francigena who arrived without food due to another French public holiday in May and a lack of shops in the area. We also had difficulty finding accommodation and Bouconville-Vauclair is not on the designated route. The hostess, Magali, was simply outstanding. She offered to prepare us an evening meal – which was magnificent, and this was followed with a superb breakfast the next morning. The accommodation can more correctly described as a newly constructed self-contained unit with all amenities you require. Magali turned our brief stay into one of the highlights of our entire walk. "The apartment is perfect if You (like us) want to have walking distance to the area of Le Defense Arena. It was fresh, had a small but very useful kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtube and shower. Two separe beds in the bedroom and a sleeping sofa in the livingroom. A small balcony with two chairs and a table was fine to sit at in the evening. If You needed where also was a dishingmashine and a coffemashine. Bedlinnen and towels was perfect. And a good wifi in the apartment was an extra plus. Just nearby the apartment was also a realy good bakery there we could buy our breakfasts. And a few hundred meters away there was a big supermarket there we could buy food and drinks."

"Exceptionally clean. Well equipped. Very good quality fixtures, bedding, cooking utensils, and most notably cutlery. The property is in a beautiful quiet setting. The hosts are a wonderful couple. Very pleasant and accommodating. Two beautiful friendly dogs added to the experience for my son. We were attending an event at Nogaro Circuit. 9 minutes by road. Highly recommended."
