"Lovely 3 night stay with hubbie and young adult daughter. Accommodation very clean. Communication before we arrived very clear. Location is great. Boulangerie about 20 metres to the right as you leave the property with a charcuterie next door to it. We tried both and they were good. There is an Aldi about 300m to the left as you leave and a Carrefour over the bridges and to the right. Whilst not in Amboise old town, the walk across the bridges into Amboise is lovely. Free car parking in the street. Washing machine but no dryer. Enough cooking facilities to cook a simple meal. Great option for families."

"Philippe showed us around the house as soon as we arrived. The house is fully equiped with all the nesessary appliances and every day stuff. It was really clean and warm. Philippe provided the carcoals for the bbq in advance and offered to provide a tent and table/benches for a bbq in the yard. The location of the house is really great just 5 min walk from the city center of La Bresse and near Hohneck ski resort. We would certainly stay to "Gite 'chez Cocotte' " again in a future trip to La Bresse."

"We learned about Ronald and Charlene’s Gîte from a blogger, and she was absolutely right. We stayed in the Carignan (not the B&B), and it was excellent. The space was beautifully designed, with two floors—one bedroom and bath upstairs, and another bedroom with a double-sink bathroom downstairs—ideal for two couples or a family. The kitchen was fully equipped, even stocked with coffee, and the living area was comfortable and well maintained. There are outdoor seating areas in both the front and back, and a private pool (not heated) that would be perfect in warmer weather. Laundry facilities are free and conveniently located outside. Ronald and Charlene were very friendly, quick to respond via WhatsApp, and their local recommendations for Saint-Rémy were spot-on. Don’t miss their olive oil and bath products—they’re exceptional."

Great for cycling and wine tasting, Alsace is special. Enjoyed a dip in the pool after cycling up Grand Ballon. Parking adjacent to the property."
