"It is a magnificent building.. so peaceful and beautifully renovated. Very large rooms . Wonderful showers ! Dinner on our arrival was delicious.. breakfast too was so fresh complete with home made jams and bread . Very welcoming hosts ."

"La Kanopée is situated in an old building, wooden floors, large windows on a quiet side street very near to the Hotel de Ville in Cherbourg. It is super cute, with lovely hints and decorations reminding us of the beauty and importance of nature itself. The bed is comfortable the shower lovely and the kitchen is well equipped and of course there's the egg hanging chair, gently swaying, bliss after a long day's travel. It's a shame I could only stay one night. I would love to return."
