"Lovely hotel right next to the castle in this very pretty village. The castle looks dramatic from the motorway, and when you reach it, it's very beautiful inside as well. The village itself is small and quiet, but very pretty, well worth a visit. Good food in the restaurant for dinner, and good breakfast. Dog friendly hotel, so the dog could stay in the room while we vistited the castle (no dogs allowed in castle)"
"Reception is closed between 3.30pm and 5.30pm, so we needed the door code they sent us to get in to the building! Check out time is 10am which is rather early. 11am checkout would have been easier."

"The location was beautiful, unique castle-like building. You need to be able to climb many stairs to stay here. Village walks were wonderful with a valley view at every turn. Breakfast was delicious buffet with croissants and muesli, juice, yogurts fruits & more."

"Although not directly on the waterfront, the location was very good, as it was possible to look out to sea. The centre of Menton lay only about ten minutes away by foot, if that. Even closer were two exceptional Italian restaurants, and a choise of other good places to eat."

"The rooms were a good size, the shower room was recently refurbished. Good size bed, 2 very comfortable armchairs, lots of space for luggage & hanging clothes. There was also the bonus of a small semi private garden/outdoor space. The grounds were spacious with some great equipment for children and a lovely swimming pool."
