Located in the ski resort of Le Sauze, Hôtel l'Équipe offers free private parking and is situated 6 km from Barcelonnette. The restaurant serves traditional French cuisine and has a small lounge area for relaxing. Please note: the restaurant is closed during the summer. This motel, built in the 1950s, hasn’t aimed to be modern, but has retained its vintage charm. As a result, the Wi-Fi is quite limited, though free. If staying connected is important to you, a 4G data plan is recommended. There is no elevator, and the rooms are carpeted. Each chalet-style room offers views of the valley or ski slopes. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, and the private bathrooms include a shower. Some rooms feature a balcony. In winter, guests can enjoy ski-in/ski-out access, with the nearest ski lift just 100 meters away. In summer, the valley offers a variety of activities such as hiking and mountain biking, with trails starting directly from the pusat peranginan.

"It's a beautiful building. We saw a spectacular sunrise through the trees. Lovely big bath and shower in the room we had. Great breakfast! It was a lovely respite after driving on motorways all the way from the south west of Spain. Off the beaten track."

"Really good location for hiking haut-asco! If you want to do small hikes in Asco, perfect; if you want to hike in haut-Asco such as Monte Cinto just 30 min drive. Owners are really friendly and concerned. They answered all our questions about hiking monte Cinto and the food served was wonderful. We were with four adults and had the room with two double beds. Small room, little hostel vibe, but all super clean. Most beautiful night sky ever seen!"
