"Excellent location and value for money for the area. For a long weekend where you aren't planning on being inside the room much and just need somewhere to sleep, it's perfect. It's very quiet with no street noise at night and feels safe and secure. The major sights are mostly walking distance through nice streets and the area, Saint-Germain des Pres, is the best area to stay in Paris, as well as being close to the Latin Quarter and Sorbonne. Many excellent boulangerie, bars and bistros nearby too. You probably won't get a better location for the price without a significant decline in quality of accommodation. We didn't use the small kitchen facility at all as we really just slept, showered and changed there and spent all day out in Paris to make the most of it. However, it seemed to be completely equipped and had most things if you were to use it for a meal in to save cost."

"Great for self-catering, short walk into town, quiet area. The rooms are all good size, facilities excellent and having a swimming pool completes the holiday experience. The town of Maurs has an excellent weekly market. The house is in a good place for exploring the surrounding area - the Auvergne is a fascinating department - and the dark skies meant the night sky was breathtaking."

"Fantastic place. You have so many amenities. They give you a box with tennis rackets and a lot of balls, ping pong rackets and balls petanque balls for adults and children alike. Coffee capsules and cakes. Swimming inflatables...well you name it. A very special place. A big thank you to the owners."

"Isolated rural location. Large and comfortable rooms Lovely grounds with large heated pool and 'Pierre le Peacock'. Hosts are lovely and helpful. Fantastic French breakfast. Perfect for a stopover or longer stay and ideally situated to tour Brittany."

"The hotel seems to be a former (big) family house, and this was how we feel there, with John and Jane great hosts. As the village is really small, there are not mutch options for dinner, but John prepares dinners some days and for our delight he prepared a deliciuos meal exclusively for us, a must! The breakfast is excelent and delicious. From Saint-Savin you can explore the pass upwards the montains and be back at the relaxing comfort at the end of the day, I would recommend it for the Pyrenées staying."
