LA MAISON VERTE SETE

"Pascal and his wife are the very genial hosts of this beautiful property - partly a B&B/Aparthotel partly a lovely café bar. The property is an elegant building a lovely square which reminded me of Paris. We woke up to a lively flower market on Wednesday morning and I just wish I'd been able to take lots of plants home with me. The location is excellent and you can easily walk to the port or to galleries and the many lovely restaurants. We stayed in a beautiful suite with a spacious bedroom and lounge (with a kitchen) plus bathroom, and the suite, like the stylish staircase, was furnished with interesting objects, sculptures and paintings, which reflect the artistic interests of the hosts and their travels abroad. There was an excellent choice of breakfasts (with great coffee) and the café also served lovely pastries and lunchtime small dishes."

"The Maison Verte was exceptional. We had two rooms between us. Both were beautifully decorated, with good-sized comfortable beds and very well-stocked kitchenettes. Being able to self-cater in stylish surroundings overlooking the square makes this a competitively priced option. Lots of restaurant and cafe choices in Sete as well and an interesting town and surroundings. We hope to come back to both the rooms and the town for a longer stay in the near future."

"Utterly charming in every way -- our host Angelique was extremely friendly and relaxed, the apartment is charming and comfortable with everything you need, and the place is ideally situated in the heart of Sete. The cafe was closed when were there but it looked fantastic. We particularly liked how relaxed yet available and kind our host was. Thank you!"

"Excellent location. Although it was on a busy square, it was surprisingly quiet inside the apartment! Strong AC and everything you need to cook too (except oil)."

"A lovely, comfortable and thoughtfully designed hotel with a very friendly and helpful host, we really enjoyed our stay. It has a great location in the heart of Sete on a fun and busy square. Despite that, the room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable - with a ceiling fan to stay cool in the night. Would definitely stay again."
