"L’Alcove was comfortable cozy and warm and the location was fabulous- right in the heart of the old town. Free parking was not too far away. Would highly recommend"

"Fantastic location, couldn't be better. Everything we needed was provided, and the apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Frederic, our host, greeted us at the apartment and was charming. We were worried about the parking, which was located offsite in a free public car park with unlimited hours, but we got a park easily both times. It could be hard if you arrive on a market day, though, as the town was heaving this morning. It probably settles down later in the afternoon."

"Sarlat is a magical place and staying at L'Alcove made it even more special. The apartment is in an excellent location, right on Place de la Liberte which is full of bars and restaurants, and it is also in the centre of where the markets are held. We felt like we were in the middle of all the action, and we didn't find it too noisy at all. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the views from the apartment. Frederic picked us up from the train station, handed over our keys, and collected us on our last day to take us back to the station. All very easy!"

"Perfect spot in the center of Sarlat. The apartment sits in an old stone building, but inside it’s clean, modern, and has everything you need. On Saturday morning I could watch the market from the window—amazing! At night it was quiet, so I slept well. The host was friendly and always ready to help. If you want to enjoy Sarlat on foot and stay in comfort, book this place."

"Awesome location in a beautiful stone building right in the market square of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Restaurants and historic attractions are right outside the window. This place had cooking facilities, good internet and a bonus was the washing machine. Open the double glazed windows to hear the buzz of people enjoying dinner etc or close them for complete silence. Absolutely perfect location!"
