"Very comfortable, not too soft beds. Kind, attentive landlords. Ideal location for visiting Chenonceaux and some other chateaux and the village of Montrichard-Val-de-Cher while enjoying the calm atmosphere of the 'campagne'. Nice restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Good tips from our hosts - thank you for them again!"

"We were lucky to have fellow guests with little children who made no noise during the night. With a baby having a difficult night next door, the sleep quality could have quickly diminished."

"Love the welcome from Sylvie and Phillipe. Traditional breakfast around the communal table. Phillipes' home made jam is wonderful. Enjoyed all our Franglais chats. Beautiful garden to wander around. Pool is lovely at the end of a hot day visiting the nearby chateaux."

"La camera è molto confortevole, pulita e la colazione è favolosa. I proprietari sono estremamente cordiali ed amanti dell'Italia. La piscina all'esterno è un toccasana dopo una giornata passata a visitare i castelli."

"The location, being on the canal, especially on a lovely evening and sun setting. The barge is a short distance from a bus stop and you can get a bus in Dijon which was amazing. We meet the owner (Bruno) briefly, he was friendly and helpful:)"

"Wonderful stay. A really comfortable room in a quite area. Really good bed. The best Thing was the friendly and communicative owner. We really preciate our stay. And at least the wonderful breakfast with homemade jams and delicious Croissant. A place to be in you visit Sospel. We love it"

"We stayed in the self-catering apartment which was amazing. Great facilities, clean, comfortable and spacious. The terrace was totally private and view was lovely. The pool and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and enough sun loungers for everyone, although most days we visited the pool we rarely saw anyone else. The location was so peaceful. Well placed for visits to the coast, only 20 minutes drive to Saint-Cyr-Sur-Mer. Le Beausset was a pleasant town with a great Friday market. Highly recommend this accommodation and the owners were so friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great value for money. We had a perfect two weeks stay and would definitely return."

"Amazing experience! Where else you can sleep in a hand made wooden tree house with a view on herds of ostriches?! The owners Michael and Christelle very gentle and warm welcoming, brought us to pick up the ostriches eggs and cooked very tasty dinner from it. Their love for nature and animals is felt in each detail! Definitely coming back :)"
