"After a long walk from Murat over high mountains, we arrived at the Le Brunet hotel in Saint-Jacques-des Blat at 7:00 p.m. and found it a comfortable shelter. The hospitality and friendliness of the hostess, as well as the breakfast, were very good."

"A lovely hotel in a beautiful location in the Auvergne. We were welcomed by the host who was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The room had a balcony with fantastic views to the countryside and mountains. The room was also very quiet. There was also plenty of outside parking available."

"The whole experience was excellant, food in the Italian restaurant was excellant and the friendly staff. The bedroom was cleaned everyday to a very high standard, we’ve stayed in 5 star hotels who were not this clean. The lady who cleaned the bedrooms everyday was first class and very efficient The pressure in the shower was really good and very comfortable beds. Well done to all involved"

We travel with a large dog, and are always thankful for a welcoming reception: Very friendly, dog-friendly staff (they have a dog-supervisor at the hotel, as well :)).
