"The view from the veranda was whilst having breakfast was beautiful. You can hear the cow bells in the distance. It was a real pleasure to meet the owner and his family, and we look forward to returning in the future. We used this accommodation as a stop from the France to Lake Garda."

"Le gîte est une belle grande bâtisse rustique, avec de nombreux espaces communs (salon, sauna, salle de port). Endroit calme et situé à proximité de plusieurs pistes de raquette/ski de fond. Notre hôte était très accueillant et accommodant. L'appartement était équipé avec tous les essentiels. Nous avons pu faire sécher nos vêtements et chaussures (très) mouillés dans la chaufferie au bois du bâtiment..."

"Beautiful, and fascinating location and the hosts were so generous with the fabulous shared garden. Such an interesting house, village and location. Perfect. Cafe Corbon, approx 100 metres away was fantastic as was the boulangerie! Hosts were very friendly, made some brilliant suggestions of local things we might like to do. But we were also very private in our little villa. Rochecorbon is a very pretty and interesting village, with lots of great walks. Super to walk to Vouvray for some wine tasting, then stroll back along the lanes through the many many vineyards! The River Loire, was 3 mins walk away; very beautiful! We were there for 2 weeks and didn't travel further than 30 miles in any direction; so much to see and do locally. And we loved just relaxing at home and in the village. Recommend going to local car boot sales! Great finds and an excellent chance to speak French! Lots of fun and people are so friendly. Recommend Tours and Loches. But so much to enjoy!"

"The room was perfect and clean and exactly as seen in photos. The woman was lovely. She accommodated us to our late arrival, easy access to public transport with a bus a 2 minute walk away that takes you to a train station. Bird feeders in garden and was nice to see the birds in the morning. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and brought to you at the time you want."
