"We loved staying here. The hosts were very friendly. Once we got there the first 2 questions were: do you need to charge your car and did you already have dinner? Super friendly and a very nice home and of course the delicious jams!"

"No wardrobe space or storage in the bedroom. You have to ensure that you give plenty of notice if you wish to eat in the evening. Nowhere to eat/drink within walking distance."

"The beds were very comfy, the breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits, yogurts, fresh juices and home made jams. Wonderful scenery and very quiet, we had a very good sleep"

"Super welcome despite a very late arrival. The bedroom was big and very comfy with all what is needed. Large bed and shower room. Huge tv with cable channels. Nice goodies with water, coffee and locally made chocolate cookies ! The breakfast (taken on the large dining and salon room, with a beautiful fireplace!) was really nice with homemade jam, croissants and bread and cheese kindly offered. Not to mention that the owner was really welcoming and smiling. The swimming pool is not operational at this time but it will be a perfect spot in summer time, for sure ! Anyway… a great spot for a night or much more !!"

"This was outstanding in every respect. The hospitality was second to none, the breakfast was both excellent and ample, the room was spacious and well resourced and the house as a whole had been beautifully and tastefully restored. In addition, the hostess, Evelyne, laid on two delicious evening meals (with an apple crumble to die for!). We would be very happy to go back for a return visit."

"We wondered whether the lighting in the bedroom could be enhanced further to allow for easier reading - but this is no more than a minor quibble, given the overall quality of the accommodation and as a very senior couple we do appreciate that our eyesight is not what it was!"

"This place is the coming together of a creative builder and a fabulous chef. To say it exceeded our expectations is an understatement, what a fantastic place. A lovely lounge/dining room, wonderful food, charming hosts. This is in a quiet rural area with rolling hills and wonderful views. If you are passing it is a must and if you're anyway nearby it's worth a detour! Really excellent, we hope to be back."

"Évelyne and Jacky were wonderful hosts. They also allowed us to bring our dog, Jutta. The room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. It made us feel like home. We had breakfast and dinner both days, which was extremely delicious. Évelyne is an excellent cook! Prunevaux is a charming village and the scenery surrounding L’Evasion is beautiful."
