If you come here, book with breakfast included as this was really delicious on the very nice terrace of the property."

"Expect a warm welcome at this lovely chambre d'hôtes in the centre of Avignon. We enjoyed the nicest breakfast with fruit salad, home-made yoghurt, fresh baguette and croissants. Mr Vidal went out of his way to find gluten-free bread for my husband and actually found a delicious gluten-free croissant, a first! The room was quiet, comfortable and v clean with a great shower in a large bathroom. We were also grateful for the help to send our bike bags ahead and to find them waiting at the B&B ready to pack up our bikes for the TGV home. Un grand merci!"

"The location was excellent right in the old walled city and the man running the two rooms for rent was so very friendly and helpful and supplied the best GF Bread and croissant for my partner who is a coeliac that was had in the entire trip to Europe. He was happy to cook eggs any way at breakfast and it set us up for the day! We could walk with our cases from the train station and then to our cruise boat when we checked out."

"Jean Paul provided a wonderful continental breakfast that included the best croissants and bread that he cycled to purchase every morning. The jams were homemade by Jean Paul - delicious! We were given a jar to take away with us, such was our host’s kindness. Jean-Paul suggested three very good restaurants, all within walking distance and recommended wine areas to visit. He was a superb host and contributed much to our enjoyment of Avignon. We loved our stay at Maison Boussingault."

"Hotel is cute, tucked away in a quiet part of town. Rooms are simple but nice, shower was very good. Very quiet at night which is always a plus."

"One thing I would say as a single traveller, I know the city very well but I confess I was a little uncomfortable walking the short way down the dark little road to get in late in the evening alone, but once inside it was very secure and cosy."
