Maison Cluaran

"Beautiful home in the heart of old Venosc, we loved pottering up to fetch fresh bread every morning for local deli shop, who were very friendly and knew us and our regular order after a couple of days. The home is well equipped for cooking or there are some lovely local restaurants. We loved the top mezzanine area and large living space. Our stay was in winter but would definitely return in summer for a visit too"

"The house was amazing - we were a group of 6 and there was more space than we needed. The check-in was easy and the gondola to Les Deux Alps was easier than I expected. We rented ski equipment from Venosc Sports, close to where the gondola drops you in town, and they provided a locker for the duration of our stay, so we didn't have to bring anything back and forth. The kitchen has everything you need, so we stayed in for diners and played games by the fire. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to anyone going to Les Deux Alps."

"I wouldn't say this was bad but the gondola stops running at 7:30pm and there isn't a lot of stores or restaurants in Venosc so we just needed to plan ahead and have groceries to make diner at home."

"Within 24 hours of arriving we had rebooked for the following year! Maison Cluaran is a beautiful contemporary, 3 story house with charm, character and wonderful views. We travelled by car to the property, found free parking fairly close by. The kitchen had everything and more (we’d taken a Gusto box with us) also lovely little restaurant round the corner. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was perfect for our teenagers, there was even a games console on the third floor with tonnes of skylanders a massive hit after the slopes, plus board games. Opposite is a very small shop that has a little area to drink in, we found everyone so friendly. This was more than a skiing holiday, the beautiful town of Venosc and the wonderful house made our skiing holiday a relaxing escape from reality!"

"Maybe with very little children the walk back from the Vénosc gondola could be difficult as it’s a steep hill, but not a problem for most people."

"Estancia muy agradable, casa espaciosa con todos los servicios necesarios. Se aprecia para bien, tener baño para cada habitación. Recomendable si quieres hospedarte en un lugar tranquilo pero con acceso a pistas fácil a través del telecabina venosc."

"Net huis wat mooi is ingericht. Keuken is top. Voldoende servies. Kamers zijn klein maar verder ok. Fijn dat alle kamers een eigen badkamer hebben"

"Super huis waar we ons al snel thuis voelden. We hadden veel plezier samen in de ruime living/eetplaats. Alles wat we nodig hadden was er! Elke slaapkamer heeft zijn eigen badkamer. De bedden en het beddengoed waren heel goed. De eigenaars waren heel vriendelijk en steeds bereikbaar. Parkeren vlakbij het huis, geen auto nodig gehad de ganse week. Wij zijn verliefd op het pittoreske stadje Venosc met schattige winkeltjes en restaurantjes!"

"Kleine minpuntjes : - je bent een klein halfuur onderweg naar de skipiste. - een steile (maar mooie!) wandeling naar boven om het huis te bereiken -geen supermarkt in de buurt, wij deden onze boodschappen na het skiën in Les2alpes."

"Maison Cluaran est un havre de paix, idéalement situé dans un petit village de montagne historique empreint de charme et de convivialité. Bâtiment historique rénové avec goût et modernité, tout en ayant conservé le charme original des maisons de l’époque. Absolument magnifique! Parfait pour y recevoir famille et amis. Comme la cuisine est grande et bien équipée, nous avons eu le plaisir d’y cuisiner quelques repas. Autrement, les quelques options de restaurants tout aussi charmants et à quelques pas de la maison, nous ont également permis de savourer la cuisine traditionnelle, dans une ambiance conviviale, chaleureuse et authentique… comme nous adorons, lorsque nous voyageons à l’étranger."

"Tout était parfait! Mais si nous n’avions qu’un commentaire constructif à donner, ce serait que les oreillers sont vraiment très gros."

"Superbe maison , très bien aménagée, très bien équipée. C’était très confortable, tant l’espace salon que les espaces aménagés pour jouer, lire ou se détendre (au dernier étage) et la literie est bonne. Il y a une seconde télévision au deuxième étage étage avec console de jeux (wii) à disposition. Les hôtes sont réactifs à nos demandes par messages, le village est très mignon, bref tout était parfait , c’était au delà de nos attentes !"
