"An absolute gem. Mariette and Zoran are a lovely welcoming couple and the house is beautiful. Our room was fabulous and really comfortable. The pool and terrace area was perfect and very welcome after a long drive. We had aperitifs by the pool followed by a spectacular spread for dinner. Breakfast was delicious too and set us up perfectly for our onward journey. We could not have asked for more and would definitely return if we get the opportunity. I highly recommend this chambre d’hôte."

"Mariette and Zoran are wonderful hosts and we felt totally cherished during our visit. Zoran prepared a superb array of dishes for dinner which we enjoyed sitting in the garden. Our dog Doris also gives Maison de La Comtesse a 5* rating ; it is one of the most dog friendly places that we’ve stayed in during many years of travelling in France"

"A big thank you to Marette and Zoran, who were wonderful hosts. The property is an elegant mix of traditional style with all modern comforts. The newly landscaped swimming pool and sunny terraced area overlooks a private garden and offers peaceful relaxation. We opted for both dinner and breakfast and I'm very glad as the food was excellent. We hope very much to visit again Anita and Iwan"
