"I’m absolutely delighted with this place! It is full of art and has such a unique and inspiring atmosphere. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. The host was wonderful – kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable experience. I would happily stay here again!"

"The location was perfect, close enough to town and far enough away for a peaceful stay. The breakfast was so delicious and plentiful. Loved Agnes home made bread with love, her jams, and granola and plums were also good. I also loved the French porcelain plates etc. Agnes has such beautiful taste as the bnb is so beautifully decorated, so very French. Wallpaper in our bedroom was so beautiful too."

"The beds were comfy but low. As older people we struggled to get up from the bed. Maybe a blind or shutters for a window covering as I didn’t feel comfortable undressing with the sheer curtain."

"Huge variety sweet and savoury for breakfast - home made or local produce. A fork would be appreciated. A little more coffee for our English taste ! The gluten free bread was appreciated, as was the 'supper trays' and a surprise desert. See photo for view from our twin bed room."

"This is the perfect location in Amboise, less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of town, overlooking the river on one side and looking up at the castle on the other. This is a beautiful home, that has been exquisitely curated by Agnes, the host of Maison Hulotte. Agnes creates on a daily basis, with breakfasts delivered fresh from the kitchen. Fresh brioche one day, scones another, cakes…home made jams, the list goes on…The Maison also has a beautiful garden which would have been perfect for reading if we’d had any time left after our days visiting chateaux in the region."

"The only issue was that whilst we had a private bathroom it was not en-suite but across the landing from our room and we had to ‘trip the light fantastic’ in order to use it!"
