Maison Orsini

"It is always a great pleasure to stay here . This must be my fourth or fifth visit. The Maison Orsini is a magic place just a short walk from the centre of Villeneuve. it is a very quiet location , ideal for relaxation. Avignon is 5 minutes by bus from the tourist office (Bus 5). 1.40 euro a one way ticket. Breakfast is in a historic dinning room with magnificent views across the Rhone to the Palais des Papes. You will not be disappointed staying in this wonderful small group of cottages and rooms."

"The whole place was very old and charming but with modern appliances and conveniences. Breakfast was very nice with a reasonably good spread. The host was very helpful right from parking the car and explaining all the facilities. The pool also looked inviting but we couldnt use it because of limited time"

"The kitchen door could not be shut properly and the outdoor furniture could be a bit more comfortable"

"The property is an old historic building made of stones , locates in a hilltop village overlooking the river. Love the quiet and peaceful garden setting. The host Falco is very responsive. Breakfast is delicious and with a lot of varieties."

"Only stopped for one night and wished we had spent more time there to enjoy the tranquil surrounding and space. Also, wanted to say a big thank you to Folco, who went out of his way to get some really good gluten free bread from my friend who is Coeliac, to enjoy for breakfast. Hopefully i'll get the chance to return another time."

"Amazing place! The views, the centuries old houses beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast, very helpful host and Villeneuve was a lovely place to stay when visiting Avignon and area. I would definitely stay here again."

"The host Folko was absolutely lovely, helpful, considerate and proactive. He truly made.the stay lovely. Breakfast was quaint and authentically French, and we enjoyed it in lovely surroundings on the patio. The location of the property is so convenient for a stroll into Villeneuve, or across the river to the old town."

"The accommodation is beautifully rustic so may surprise anyone who is expecting a modern hotel. We had no issues with it though."
