The Meyerbeer Hostel is located only 50 metres from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais. The main square as well as the main train station are reachable with a 10-minute walk. "Better than expected! Very good location, and the apartment had plenty of space and felt secure once inside. There was even a sun umbrella and beach towels available, which was a nice touch. Communication with the establishment was smooth and easy throughout. Highly recommended!"

"As it is situated at the quite frequented street, in the night there was a noice of cars and pedestrisns coming from the bars. As it is an old building and as it was hot, we could smell the unplesant odour from the bathroom, but not too strong and only few times. Otherwise everything perfect!"

"The location is excellent just a minute from the stunning Pantheon building and a 10min stroll down to Notre Dame. The breakfast is excellent, room quite spacious for Paris and the staff were lovely."

I liked that there was a water fountain close to the reception where one has a choice of three different types of water. I have travelled to Saumur on numerous occasions, but the location of this hotel on l'île d'Offard is excellent. One is a 10 minute walk from the tourist part of Saumur but not paying tourist prices!"
