"The Indigo parking next to the hotel at a discount rate. The bunk bed for the kids. The restaurant in the evening. Nice atmosphere, a lot of young people. A lot of space to let the kids run around."

"The breakfast at The People is decent but quite basic for the price. Overall, I would rate it around 4 out of 5. In terms of hot food, the options were limited — only omelette and bacon were freshly prepared. Pancakes were available, but they were served cold; however, staff were happy to reheat them in the microwave upon request. Whether it’s worth the money depends on expectations. It’s acceptable for a quick, simple breakfast, but it may feel overpriced considering the limited variety and quality. The location is fantastic — right on the canal and within easy walking distance of the castle and the historic city centre. Absolutely ideal."

"The place felt new and modern, and very clean! It's located on a small island in the city, not too far from the centre, so it's ideal to discover Caen :) I liked the bed and that there was a curtain; it definitely gives you more privacy even in a shared dorm room."
