"Catherine was a lovely host. She was very communicative and welcoming. The villa was a very comfortable place to stay for a night whilst we were taking our road trip. This is the first place we stayed at that had enough plug sockets and they were in a sensible place for overnight charging. We had full use of the plunge pool on a very hot day and evening, we were able to enjoy it privately in a peaceful garden setting. We had dinner delivered as we were too tired to venture out. Catherine, very perceptive and attentive, noticed that we had food delivered and asked if we needed cutlery (this was above and beyond!) Breakfast was very nice, juice, croissants - typical continental style. We were able to park the car easily off the road and it as well as the area felt secure and safe. There were some mosquitos and we had already brought the “after bite” treatment with us - we’d come again out of mosquito season to enjoy the outside space even more. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Ontzettend lieve hosts. Het goot van de regen en ik had nog niet gegeten . Toen ik dat zei kreeg ik zomaar een bordje eten en een goed glas wijn. De volgende keer dat ik daar ergens onderweg een logeerplek nodig heb ga ik zeker weer daar slapen."

"Helene is the ultimate hostess. She was there to greet us and responsive quickly to every request. We really enjoyed staying here. Helene is very knowledgeable about the are and it's history and we took her up on the winery tour - well worth it! Rooms were pleasant with the main room having a view across the valley. Comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms. TV had everything, wifi good. We were seven adults as we had two unexpected extras, but we managed and it was no problem for Helene to accommodate. 20+ish minute walk to Chalonnes centre. Highly recommended."
