"The host's welcome was excellent, although the locked gate did confuse us to start with! However, that was soon sorted and everything was brilliant. The house is very unusual - in a good way - and almost like a living museum or antique shop. Every room is full of quirky features and furniture. We hadn't booked an evening meal but a three course meal was rustled up at short notice for both of us and it was beautiful and very authentic, with a half bottle of wine each and a coffee for me for a total of €69. Our trike was locked away in their personal garage and nothing was too much trouble. What a stay - we highly recommend this place for so many reasons. (P.S. The additional host, Tarrow the St. Bernard, is so friendly too!)"

"Honestly very well equipped and the owner is so nice and hospitable . Very welcoming and the chalet is about a few minute drive to the center. You can drive 3 min to the parking and walk about 5 min to the ski lift."

"We liked the location, only ten minutes from Cognac which was beautiful, a lovely pool and well equipped kitchen. Sylvie was a lovely host and left us to ourselves but offered any help we wanted. We had a great stay the place is so peaceful."

"Location have been ideal for us. While rural and quiet, however very close to Dieppe (literally 10 min by car) and even closer to Dieppe Ferry (5 min). Our friends from London used that Ferry, it was super convenient and much cheaper than Eurotunnel. The nearest Lidl and Carrefour shops are also about 5 min by car, while a huge Auchan hypermarket about 10 minutes. We were super unlucky with weather. Rain, wind and 18C whole week in August. So we travel around by car a lot. Several beautiful beaches and palaces worth a visit within 30 minutes drive. Rouen about 50 min by car definitely worth a visit. Etretat over an hour drive, but surely one have to see it. Just note that it's too touristic, a problem with parking in high season and terrible food (in comparison to anywhere else). Dieppe not crowded, English spoken everywhere, which is convenient , no problems with parking and food as good as it should be."

"We stayed two nights in La Dolce Vita Justine. We were warmly welcomed by Ludo and Sophie who are a very sympathetic couple. They did everything to make our stay as good as possible. Our room was clean and cool and had a good bed. The view and location are excellent overlooking Vals-les-Bains. Breakfast was good. Highly recommended."
