"Staff were so friendly and welcoming! We had a yummy welcome drink and some small nibbles. Sat outside waiting for dinner and butterflies started landing on the children. The dinner was lovely, felt very special. Breakfast also so nice. Was a lovely stop on our journey in France. The room also worked out really well for a family of 5."

"An older hotel with plenty of character. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was rather spartan/tired but warm and the bed was comfortable. View from the room over the surrounding vineyards was spectacular. Shower had plenty of hot water but shower head had to be held by hand which we found awkward. Breakfast was typical French style and ok. Restaurant in the evening was very good with a reasonable choice and really excellent food (we ate there both nights of our stay). Parking was on the road just up from the hotel and was free. We would happily stay there again when visiting Sancerre."

"Lovely and relaxed one night stay during a short road trip to the country side around Nice. Short, albeit steep, uphill walk to the nearby village provided beautiful views for the dinner. As a culmination, we were lucky enough to be greeted by Gaston(ette) during a wonderful breakfast. Voilà!"
