Astral Lodge is situated in the centre of the historic coastal town of Hastings, directly opposite the beach. It is just a 2-minute walk from the shops, bars and attractions, and less than 10 minutes from the rail station. It offers rooms with an en suite, tiled shower room. "The room was warm and cosy during my stay, the bed was comfortable, TV had sky channels"

"The only thing was the key to lock was a bit awkward and had to fiddle a bit to unlock or lock the door, so that needs to be looked into other than that all good"

"The receptionist very kindly arranged for my mother to a room closer to the ground floor which was appreciated. I had a nice room overlooking the seafront. This was my second time staying at this hotel and once again, I left happy."

"We stayed last night ( 3 rooms ). Had a lovely meal for my husband's 50 th. Staff were lovely, food excellent, rooms comfortable very relaxed atmosphere couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was excellent this morning too. Would definitely recommend 👌"

"Good location as we needed to be near an event, but easy to get a bus from property to centre and elsewhere. Family friendly pub.Food was good, didn’t require breakfast, nice coffee machine , fresh milk and biscuits and good size fridge in room. Live music ended at a reasonable time."

"The accommodation has excellent location. The Central Station is within 15 minutes walk, but there are bus stops nearby, so with public transport everything is reachable quickly. Kevin, the owner is very friendly and welcoming and helpful."

"Pickmere is a real gem! Stunning location with my bedroom overlooking open fields. My family were staying in the attached accessible annex which is perfect for those with disabilities. Cooked breakfast was great they said, for me it was no problem for a gluten/ dairy/ carb free breakfast to be prepared! Pickmere lake a short walk away is delightful for some exercise and to wind down. Many thanks. We will certainly return when in the area 😊"
