The terrace to have a coffee and so great to be able to wear your Robe all day even for lunch, a very chilled environment with a luxury experience can’t wait to come again. Everyone is friendly and welcoming a great experience for a trip away on your own to recharge."

"Start to finish was perfect, Olivia was extremely helpful and so welcoming an absolute asset to Champneys. The surroundings of the hotel being by lake was absolutely beautiful and calming. The restaurant and all the facilities were amazing especially the outdoor hot tub and in the relaxation room there is lie down water beds. Has everything to offer to feel deeply relaxed and the yoga class with candlelit experience was lovely. I had been extremely poorly for two years and this was exactly what I needed to feel so much better and to celebrate my birthday. 5 stars perfection, can’t wait to come back."

"I have been to the property several times and normally stay for a few days. However, on this occasion, I just stayed on the bed and breakfast option. We did include dinner in our stay and had the privilege of James‘s services. He was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. I would give him five stars! Highly recommend and I’ll be back soon"

"I was really tired when I arrived after a long drive, The receptionist on the desk was truly lovely and helped me with my bags to my room. Room was on the second floor and was big and comfortable Lovely view of the lake. I used the pool which was lovely and quiet. The food at breakfast was excellent. Lovely business stay."

"The beautician who did my facial ignored my request to be gentle with the skin and my comment that I had to be very careful about exfoliating it, and exfoliated it anyway. I didn't realise what she was doing until it was too late. Within a couple of hours I had a red patch above my top lip."

"Booked for one night but liked it so much stayed another night. Staff so lovely and helpful and the peace and tranquility at the hotel was just wonderful best nights sleep and it was quiet at night unlike other hotels I've stayed at. The lake is just beautiful and the grounds immaculate- the ducks are so funny and the geese on the lake was a spectacular sight to see!"

"Champneys Forest Mere is exceptional value. As a business guest complimentary access to a 5* spa was a bonus and set me up for the day. I also liked the 'Health Farm' ambiance of being able to wander around in a bath robe and flip-flops (provided) including for breakfast (excellent in terms of quality and choice) as one might do at home in anticipation of a heavy day ahead before getting 'suited and booted' . Staff were kind and attentive as I have mobility issues. Claudine and Emily receive my commendation - thank you both! My lovely room was more a parlour with a settee and good desk to spread and sort-out the day's business papers, computer etc. Finally, whilst it is completely understandable that the Spa facilities are reserved for the exclusive use of Health Treatment Guests etc, between 10.00 am - 5.00 pm you may need to be aware of this; but did not apply to me."

"Nothing at all! Whilst I did not eat at the hotel other than breakfast,, I found it odd that the restaurant only offered a 'Table D' Hotel' menu from which one must choose at least two courses. However, plenty of choice."
