"The Minos hotel is a good stay in Rethymno. It has all the facilities for families. We stayed in a suite with a sea view, it was large and lovely."

"We picked the Minos hotel for it's kids club for our 3 yo girl. However, when we got there, it appears the kids club is open only 11:30-13:30. Only after asking to talk with the manager the staff showed flexibility and opened the kids club at 10:30 at the day of our departure. For improvement, the hotel staff should show more flexibility in opening hours of the kids club, for example in the afternoon."

"Lovely clean hotel with the room serviced every day with clean towels, and bed made etc. The breakfast had a vast choice with something for everyone. The pool was also good with ample sunbeds."

"The majority of staff could have had more customer service skills - they were not very welcoming. There was also no atmosphere. There was an animation team but all they did was sit on their laptops all morning with no interaction with guests."

"Awsum Location / beautifully newly built apartments and so spacious. Fantastic amenities, beautiful airy spacious common areas. Fantastic location directly opposite the main beach."

"Pool closing at 6pm - didn’t really bother me that much but would have been good as an option. We used the app for the login / check in details but after that nothing - would be great if the app could be used for keeping residents updated for happenings for evenings etc - just a waste considering the time taken to download it etc"

"There was a long way to go from this building to the reception, pool or breakfast restaurant, traversing 2 other building blocks. There were occasional problems with water supply (due to water company)."

"Very nice hotel very close to the beach (2 mins) and to the centre of Rethymno (old port). The staff did their best to make our holiday beautiful. Special thanks to Amelia in restaurant and to the ladies in reception! We stayed in the new building. The room was beautiful, spacious with big terrace. Good aircondition, kitchen, welcome drink and snacks. Breakfast and dinner were 5*. Pool area is very nice, and you can also spend your time in game room or in the gym."

"The carpet in the corridor should be changed, it was very dirty. Toilets in the common area were not clean at all."

"Children's play room was very good however it was not enough ready yet. Children pool also was wonderful. Room cleaning was perfect. In the hotel was a doctor who helped a lot when our daughter got sick In the middle of night."

"The pools were closed after 6 PM. For sure it was too early. Might be better if they close them after 8 PM. In children playroom was another small room where was not clean and it seemed someone slept there at night and smocked a lot of cigars!!!!"

"The location although at first getting to our rooms in another building was complicated. Hafiz was a great help with our luggage. The food in the dining room was excellent. And Kyriakou made us - just as he did everyone else feel so personally welcome."
