"It was really like a home. Very cosy, lot of plants outside it was beautiful. The views on Agua were phenomenal!"

"It was not as clean as it looks on pictures. Towels were a bit stain, on the patio it smell a bit urine cat. But overall it was good!"

"Fantastic house with a shared kitchen. 10 minutes walk to the shopping mall. Plenty of ubers to central Antigua and inexpensive. Lovely peaceful place to rest and relax."

"There was a bit of confusion with the check out time because we got a message from the host saying it was at 10:30, on booking it says 10:00 but he told us 11:00. I'd suggest to keep it homogenous."

"Considerate, attentive guesthouse staff. Very flexible with arrival/leaving times and remarkably okay with me storing my field work samples in the storage room! Oh, and Indi - the resident house cat - is so friendly. Overall a tranquil place and a great stay."

"One thing to note is that the guesthouse is a 30-minute walk from Antigua town centre, and that the walk involves walking alongside the highway. This is less than ideal at night-time, though there's always the option of an Uber."

"We really loved this place and ended up extending our stay! We stayed in the king’s bedroom which was super comfortable, large, quiet and with beautiful decoration and calming vibes. The hosts and the other guests in the house were super friendly and the neighbourhood was lovely. The large shared kitchen was very convenient and the house has plenty of space to relax and enjoy your stay. we would definitely stay here again!"

"La Baraka est une maison pleine de charme et décorée avec goût. Très bon accueil de notre hote JB , grande discrétion et à l'écoute . Une grande cuisine est un beau salon et une grande chambre avec un balcon. Quartier très calme un peu loin du centre mais possibilité de faire venir un Tuktuk. Grand supermarché à proximité. Un très bon choix pour un séjour paisible à Antigua."

"The way into town was confusing. We got super lost walking back at night. There are alleys and road closures that don’t exist on Google maps. Make sure to get a Tuktuk. Super low light inside which made it really hard to pack and organize."
