"The hostel is wonderful clean, with hot water and very comfortable beds. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. The rooftop is amazing, and the hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the city centre. I absolutely loved it! I stayed for a total of 7 nights because I just couldn’t leave ❤️"

"The only downside is that there is quite a lot of noise from the street. Dogs tend to bark a lot during the night, and the noise can be heard inside the rooms. I would recommend using earplugs for a better night’s sleep."

"Location is good - close to all the things but thats not to hard in san marcos. Two rooftops (upper one quite windy) but very nice with hangmocks and everything 🤗 Staff is nice, kids are all around the area (scream a lot, but well, thats kids 🙆🏼‍♀️) Even at night you have good lightning when going to the toilet etc. 🤗 Dorms a good! Shelfs to put things on 🙆🏼‍♀️🤟🏼"

"Lovely welcoming staff, cute kitten and dog. I had a spacious room with excellent storage and large windows from which I could see the lake. I extended by a night, I really liked this place as my base in San Marcos. Free filtered water in the kitchen. I didn't use the kitchen to cook but it looked like it was well equipped. It's just a short walk from the 'main' hub of San Marcos. I'd stay again."

"I rarely had hot water, but that didn't bother me much. It's noisy especially at night but they do warn you to bring earplugs! WiFi was a bit patchy."
