"The family who own the house are all very friendly and extremely helpful. They made me feel very welcome and were incredibly patient with all of my questions in my dodgy Spanglish. They have a few dogs but all were absolutely lovely to be around and the family made sure to keep the house very clean. For the budget price they offer this place is amazing. I would highly recommend it."

"Absolutely gorgeous property with incredible views. The sauna was a lovely addition and the sunsets were incredible. Really delicious homemade breakfast each day for additional cost and a shared kitchen with free eggs if you choose to make your own. Kenzie was so kind and made us a ceremonial cacao for free on Christmas morning - you must try!"

"We were very happy with our experience at Casa Las Pilas 2 in El Gariton. The house is on a big, green, spacious, well-cared for lot with everything necessary for a pleasant and restful short break. It is a short walk to the actual beach, and it is near handy shop tiendas as well. The various buildings are clean, well appointed, and surround a great pool with a wonderfully relaxing jacuzzi. The kitchen is filled with everything that a self-catering holiday requires. There is a clean charcoal BBQ which we used to make carne asada. We finished the evening watching a film together after dinner. The bedrooms are numerous with comfortable beds and several bathrooms. I hope to return to this great house some day soon."
