Aunque en maps me me indicaba que para pocos kms se tardaba mucho ( es decir, malísimos caminos), no fue así y llegamos a la primera una vez que pasas la población de São José. La casa está todavía en construcción algún dormitorio. El entorno es una maravilla, rodeado de naturaleza. La primera noche cenamos en el porche pero ya a partir del segundo día nos amenazaban las hormigas. Nos esperaron para darnos las llaves. Las habitaciones arriba son muy amplias con balcón y vistas. Las camas cómodas. Hay dos baños con ducha, a mí me resultó más cómodo el de abajo, el de arriba no cerraba la puerta. La cocina dispone de barra americana, horno (no muy limpio), cocina a butano y todo el menage está fuera. Buena relación calidad-precio"

Podría mejorar un poco en limpieza de la cocina. La barra americana dispone de 3 taburetes (eramos 4) y muy altos, cuesta un poco subirse.

"Great place. The flat is clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. Two terraces, the opportunity to eat breakfast with a beautiful view is priceless. The owners were VERY helpful and organised a place for us to store our two SUP boards by the beach. We didn't have to move or pump them up every day. THANKS On-site parking. "Beautiful property atop a hill, with nice views of the surroundings (including a view of the Queen's Palace). Very clean. Elegant decor. Comfortable beds. Access to private swimming pool (competition-length, which is great for serious swimmers), a pool-house equipped with grill, bar, tables, and games (ping pong and foosball), and a private playground for younger children. We ordered 1 meal that was excellent, served in-house by the hosts. The hosts live in a separate unit on the property and they were available whenever we had questions. One of the hosts used to be a competitive swimmer and she gave the children a swim lesson. A relaxing place if you want to get away from the bustle of downtown Tana."

Somewhat difficult to find if you're driving yourself, but that's no fault of the hosts and the isolation does make the property more peaceful. Besides, property access won't be a problem if you ask the hosts to organize transportation for you (either car or motorcycle). There was a water shortage due to a drought at the time of rental, but again that's no fault of the hosts. We just had to be careful about our water consumption and it all worked out just fine. Treat the hosts with respect and they will definitely return the favor (they surprised us with freshly baked bread on our last day!)

I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. I could have spent a lot longer here."

"L'accueil de la propriétaire qui était présente et qui nous a fait faire le tour des lieux, l'accès à la piscine même si nous n'en avons pas profité hélas!!! et pour notre départ nous avons pu laisser nos bagages sur place ce qui nous a évité de les avoir pendant la dernière journée."

Il serait bien qu'un minimum pour le premier petit déjeuner soit proposé ce serait top et peut être un peu plus de vaisselle comme on peut y être entre 4 et 6 personnes c'est un peu léger.

"Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und komfortabel, die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns, dass wir zwei Bäder hatten und der schöne Garten, in dem man gemütlich frühstücken konnte. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit dass für uns traditionelles Essen gekocht wird, was sehr lecker war, und unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. Wir bedanken uns sehr herzlich und freuen uns, nochmal wieder zu kommen :)"

"Great location, loved the customer service and the price is very competitive. The beds were comfortable and loved the fact that we could watch the African Cup of Nations on TV. The place is very clean. Really loved that."

While not the fault of the house, the Unexpected Electricity outages were inconvenient. Long terms measures could include a back up generator or battery storage. Would also be good to have toilet papers in the toilets, not everyone is a big fan of using water. I had to purchase my own toilet papers. Hot water didn't seem to work.

Not a didn’t like but consider one restaurant ‘Tet Rouge’ open a short walk away. Hire car a must for getting about.

"We enjoyed the cute and small surrounding village and quiet environment with a stunning view of Nile river. The rooms were very clean and spacious and had all the necessary equipment and amenities. The ground staff were also very helpful. The host, Danielle was very helpful for all the questions I had before the trip and she arranged a tour for us. The guide Mohamed was also very helpful and flexible to meet our needs every day and tried to make sure we were happy with the service!"

From the outside, the place looked simple, but the room itself was actually nicer and better equipped than the Sheraton in Brussels or the King Fajd Palace in Dakar which I had stayed in en route."

The street was a block in from the main road which was quiet and nice in the daytime but too dark to walk at night alone as a single lady.

"This was a great house with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. We were a group of 9 which is probably the maximum this house can take, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for our shorter trip. Everything worked really well and the hotel this villa is connected to had great facilities like a sauna and hottib which were free to use. The host was great, the location for this villa is slightly incorrect on this site as it was a bit further out than we expected but the host was helpful in getting us transport everymoring to the ski centers."

"We had a very spacious appartment. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere and start cross country skiing right at the appartment. For us it was a very nice stay and we would come again!"

Overall the appartment came into the years a little bit. Some lights were not working so well for example, the sauna was hard to get very hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We did not mind very much but maybe there should be some maintenance works done in the nearer future.

"Just an amazing place right by the beach. Owner Luca and manager Wally are two of the most generous hosts I have ever met. Our flight was cancelled so we arrived a day late, but Luca deducted that first night. We will certainly be back"
