"Monica and Nobert are amazing hosts. They are always there to help you. They know a lot about the area and the country so their advices are always welcomed. They are really nice to talk to and share a meal with. They have 2 nice kids. Like Monica told me, « they are a home, not an hotel » and it’s way better that way! :) The room was clean and confortable. The included breakfast was really delicious and huge and it changed every day. They offer to cook for you if you want to eat dinner with them which is really great. They offer a twin lakes tour which was amazing with a lot of informations."

The bathroom is a little small and it’s cold water, but you can get a bucket of hot water so it’s ok. It’s not so close to city center, but moto are easy to find to get there, or walk for a bit is possible.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Room was clean and had all required amenities. The shared kitchen has stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dryer which was in good condition. Host is responsive through text."

Room is small for 4 persons despite the 2 queen beds, might be more suitable for 2 persons. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours move out and the vehicles that pass by the side road.

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

"If you are more a visitor then a tourist, if you like exploring and going further when comfortable tourism ends, this place is for you. The authenticity, genuine friendliness and welcoming hearts of the people of the community made this stay incredibly unique and one of the best experiences of my life. When staying here one can get closer to locals, animals, cultural sights, traditions, local way of life, nature and the PNG culture in general then in any other accommodation. The PNGFE made my stay very comfortable and made me experience local life and the raw nature of PNG!!"

"Chez Fabien on n'a pas l'impression d'être des locataires, mais des amis accueillis à bas ouverts. Fabien veille à tout, à la propreté, au bien être. Il conseille sur les promenades à faire, sur les choses à faire et à voir."

Tout était vraiment parfait. Si nous devons repartir en Guyane nous savons où aller.

Not very soundproof when people shower or watch Northern lights late at night. Bring earplugs when sensitive.

"中式早餐以稀飯為主食，另有吐司果醬可以選擇，豐富配菜及紅烏龍茶飲、鮮奶，吃到飽。 民宿最棒的就是提供洗衣機、烘乾機，讓出外多天的旅人可以清洗一些髒衣服，超方便的、大推；房間面窗可看到花東縱谷美景，距離鹿野高台車程10分鐘很近，地點絕佳，民宿還免費出借腳踏車可以漫遊鹿野，可惜這次來不及使用到。 入住前最擔心的吃飯問題，民宿附近有草仔粿、紅豆餅(下午)，晚餐可以吃附近路口轉彎處的猛爸爸快炒，或到鹿野車站旁吃合菜，都不踩雷、好吃。"

Not really any downside about the accommodation. A car is needed as you cant really walk from there into town, but there is on-site parking and taxi services.

"Very clean, maintained and peaceful accommodation. Ideal for families having own mean of transport. Markets/ restaurants nearby. Wifi available"

The location is on 28 minute drive from Masjid e Nabawi. Taxi would be costly.

"Very nice and special place, 15 min from the town (it's a beautiful walk along the beach). Placed tight at the beach. Very beautiful common areas with a great unique vibe. Eggs, onions and garlic for cooking available, coffee too. Andres is always around, very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. Beautiful stars in the night."

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

The Guesthouse Is set in the middle of the beautiful and lush nature and close to everything and also with a bus stop just across from the property..

"We vacationed here in March 2026. We came here for the sea of ​​stars, but we'll be back to experience the hosts' hospitality, the privacy, and the tranquility of this beautiful island.
