"Large comfortable room. Good breakfast and dinners. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. In particular the brother of the manager who covered food, service and many other things. Along with another young man who did likewise, plus he did an excellent job of guiding us on a hike through Palm Gardens and Gorge Du Todra. When we were making our booking we enquired about access as we were planning a long trip with heavy luggage. We were told in advance that there is a steep path and stairs from the road but that we would have our luggage transfered for us by staff and Jack the donkey. On arrival and departure that was done by the staff and lovely healthy looking well cared for Jack. So our stay was overall very good."

The only things were the mounting bracket for the shower head in the bathroom faces the head straight out. No big problem for us as we just held it by hand. But some people may not be comfortable doing that and a new mounting bracket would be a good idea. The second thing was a leak from the pipe suppling the bathroom sink. Which meant that the bathroom floor away from the shower was wet and could be slippery. There was a floor blade left in the bathroom to use but the leak would not be a major job to fix so would be worth doing.

"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. "We had a wonderful stay here at this accomodation. First: the adress. Is located in a veeery dreamy place, it seems like it is taken out from a fairytale: nature, snow, quiteness, just wonderful. Second: the accomodation itself. It is very beautiful, very very clean, very warm (we slept in light pijamas), very quiet. Third: the owners. They were extremely nice with us, they gave us advice for the northern lights, we chatted with them and they were very friendly and nice people. If i ever want to come back in rovaniemi, surely i will come back to this accomodation and i will reccomend it."

There is nothing we didnt like. Everything was perfect.

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht komplett zentral und die Bettwäsche hat etwas komisch gerochen. Ansonsten war aber alles super!

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"This is a lovely place to stay for anyone who is wanting a break from hotel/hostel life. Rodrigo and his wife are so welcoming and kind. Everything that you need is there (coffee, tea, cold water, a fully equipped kitchen), including information and a laundry service that is great value for money (possibly the best that I have had in my 5 weeks of travelling so far!). The location is perfect for León, I feel lucky to have booked this place."
