If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

"The hotel was recommended to me by a couple I met travelling and they weren't wrong, Everything was so great about the hotel that I extended my stay by 2 days, The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great and different every morning, The manager even gave me a ride to the bus stop to catch the bus for san salvador, It was great value for money, I will definitely stay there again,"

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. "Absolutely loved my stay here! The ambiance is so serene! It's nice and quiet at night so you'll sleep peacefully. Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. Thank you so much for having! I'll definitely be back"

"Had a comfortable stay here for 1 night layover, Dany was a great host. I enjoyed visiting the night market nearby where you get to see a slice of local life. The dorm room is quite basic but great for the price, and bathroom facilities were clean."
