"Very friendly and welcoming with a self service breakfast. Lovely views looking over the sea. Very peaceful a great place to chill out."
"A bit isolated and you would have to drive to pubs and restaurants or take a 55 minute walk. Gravelled access and car park could be a little challenging if on a motorcycle."

"Absolutely lovely stay at Carrick House. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful and well appointed and we had access to the dining room with our own fridge and breakfast facilities. It was a great set up. Would have loved to have stayed longer."

"I was booked for my family for 5 including 2 kids ...we selected the triple bed room ... The host was so warmly welcomed and show the room. the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also was so good and kids enjoyed the bathtub. The breakfast they provided was really good and in quality. Also they allowed to make hot own food also. They given separate fridge to keep own food The host family was good ."

"Location is awesome. Views of rolling countryside. The room size was generous as was the bathroom. The hosts are lovely people and it was very quiet. The entrance is a bit obscured so you have to follow the road to the end where you’ll be reassured by a sign you are literally on the right track."
"Having stayed in several B&B’s comparing a barren continental breakfast compared to a lovely cooked breakfast was disappointing in the extreme. One choice of bread and very little to excite. The result was our first stop was to a cafe in town where we spent €70, in other guest houses that cost was part of the fee for staying there."
