"For our first guesthouse experience, this was pretty much as expected and overall a fairly lovely experience. We were here for one quick night and breakfast, which was quiet and restful, and we weren't left wanting for anything more. Plenty of parking and privacy. Location is nice and it's conveniently only a short drive to start or end the day with several of the Golden Circle sights."

"The shower was a little hard to use, because the hot water is so hot that minor adjustments take the temperature from freezing to scalding. This may be common in Iceland but my partner skipped the shower here after laughing at me jumping in and out for several minutes. The kitchen seemed like it would be tight if you were sharing it with multiple families but was enough for us to have breakfast with another family (5 people total). But these are hard things to really complain about for this type of accommodation, and were fairly small complaints that would not stop us from staying here again."

"We seemed to be lucky to get an amazing huge room with comfy chairs etc. Kitchen facilities were very good. Lovely setting surrounded by garden/farm and location was great for us."

"Difficult to regulate water temperature in shower and toilet sometimes didn't flush properly. Twins beds were a bit narrow for adults."

"Comfortable and relaxing building in a beautiful landscape. The dining area meant only one group at a time could eat or cook but we appreciate this is an older more traditional building."
